It’s 1943, and the Allied Forces are hoping for a big victory in World War II. Fortunately, they’ve got a trick up their sleeve. Well, not up their sleeve, exactly, but rather inside the pocket of a stolen corpse. Named for the secret operation that helped the Allies win the war, Operation Mincemeat is a farce, a thriller, and an Ian Fleming-style spy caper (with an assist from Mr. Fleming himself) all wrapped up in one.

Buena Vista - 3 Fun Facts
Operation Mincemeat is a musical based on the Allies’ war operation of the same name that helped them win World War II. Much more than a history lesson, the uproarious comedy is parts farce, thriller, and Ian Fleming-style spy caper.
London Theatre describes the music of Operation Mincemeat in this way: "There are glimmers of Monty Python, Mel Brooks, and Gilbert and Sullivan. The wide-ranging score features patter songs, edging into Hamilton rap territory, as well as jazzy 1940s-style harmonies and a big glitzy Hollywood finale."
The show scored dozens of five-star reviews (the most in West End history), won the Olivier for Best New Musical, and is one of the most highly anticipated shows coming to Broadway.
